Candid and Natural Wedding Photography

London & THE UK - fully insured

I am Susan and I will be honoured to be your wedding photographer on your special day.
I come from a fashion and editorial photography background, with over 10 years of professional experience working with models, families and couples in front of the camera - including those who don’t feel confident being photographed.
For couples, this means being gently guided, positioned and supported throughout the day, while still keeping the images natural and unforced.

My Signature Style

My photography blends candid and natural storytelling with an editorial, cinematic feel.

Throughout the day, I focus on capturing real moments as they naturally unfold — the laughter, the emotions, the quiet in-between moments that often become the most meaningful memories.

Alongside these candid moments, my background in fashion photography allows me to create effortlessly beautiful, flattering portraits that feel elegant yet completely natural even if you have no time for photos or don't know how to pose. The result is a gallery that feels both natural and cinematic — real moments, beautifully captured as if they belong in the magazine.

Most couples tell me the same thing before we start: I’m awkward in photos.

They feel uncomfortable in front of the camera, or they’re worried the photos will feel forced.

That’s more common than you think.

You don’t need to know how to stand, where to put your hands, or how to “act natural”.

My role is to make the whole experience feel easy — so nothing feels awkward or overly posed.

What you get in the end are beautiful candid photos and even staged ones would look very natural and polished.

Take a breath

On the day, you don’t need another person adding pressure.

I’m there to keep things calm, help things flow, and support you if plans shift or timings slip (which they often do).

Whether that means helping you feel more confident during portraits, or simply giving you space when emotions run high - I adapt to what you need.

Many couples tell me afterwards that the photography felt far less stressful than they expected. That’s exactly the point.

Introductory Pricing

Wedding photography is currently offered at introductory rates while my UK wedding portfolio continues to grow.

Although my pricing is expected to increase in future seasons, every couple receives the same full experience, attention to detail, and carefully edited final gallery.

I offer 3 flexible wedding photography packages, and you can easily add a videographer, second photographer or content creator if you’d like. Every wedding is different, so if you have something specific in mind, I’m always happy to tailor the coverage to fit your day perfectly.

A £150 deposit secures your date, and the rest can be paid in instalments or in full anytime up to 30 days before your wedding.

Travel

I regularly photograph weddings across the UK and love travelling to new venues and beautiful locations. I often travel by train and local transport across the UK. This allows me to comfortably reach weddings in different regions - from city celebrations to countryside venues - without long drives before or after your day.

Travel is usually included in my packages. If your wedding requires longer train travel or an overnight stay, any additional costs will always be included in your final quote and are typically no more than £50–£70.

This is the full day package 95% of my couples go for - it covers everything you’d typically need for your wedding day:

FAQ

How far in advance should we book?

I’d always say the sooner the better, especially for weekends. I already have couples booking into 2028.

It’s just a £150 deposit to secure your date, and nothing else is due until 30 days before your wedding, so you can book early without any pressure.

You’re also very welcome to pay in instalments along the way - whatever feels easiest for you.

It means you can secure your date early without any pressure, and spread the cost in a way that works for you.

What Happens Next

If my approach feels like the right fit for you, the next step is very simple.

Just get in touch with your wedding date, location, and a short outline of your plans.

I’ll confirm my availability and we can take it from there — calmly, clearly, and with absolutely no pressure.

You don’t need to have everything planned yet. Just share what you know so far and we can talk through the rest together. I usually reply within 24 hours.

And just to answer something I often get asked - I travel across the UK all the time for weddings, so even if you’re getting married in Scotland, Wales or somewhere a little further away, I’d be more than happy to come. Travel is always kept simple and reasonable, and in many cases it’s already included.

PS: When couples ask if I travel for weddings, I usually just show them this map.

This is what my 2026 is already looking like - and I’d love to keep adding more pins.

Scotland, Wales, countryside venues, seaside towns… I’m always happy to travel wherever your wedding day takes you (UK travel is already included in my packages).

If you’re planning something a little further away, just send me a message - I’d love to hear about it x
